The spring river starts near the Missouri border and flows from mammoth spring. It has a water temperature of 58 degrees where it comes out of the ground. The areas around mammoth springs state park are popular for wade fisherman. This river is has a lot of access, although much of it can only be accessed by boat because of the depth. Concentrate on the upper sections for easy wading.
